OpenSimulator (OpenSim) is an open-source 3D Application Server implementation that initially aimed to be Second Life-compatible. Three Immersions, Inc. provides design, development, and hosting service for OpenSim-based Virtual Worlds projects. In addition to designing and implementing 3D Virtual Worlds, we customize both the server software and the client viewer software as needed to deliver optimal user experience. Separately, we offer low-cost, ready-to-deploy, off-the-shelf OpenSim Virtual Worlds in the downloadable OAR format, for which we can provide customization service if needed.
We have followed the development of OpenSim ever since it became stable and feature-rich enough for experimental use. So far, we have completed the following projects in OpenSim grids:
China Mobile
We designed and operated a virtual store for China Mobile in
Second Life and later provided VW Reolcation service to move it to an OpenSim-based grid.

Zhejiang Technology Institute of Economy Virtual Campus
We developed and deployed a virtual campus running on a customized standalone OpenSim-based grid for Zhejiang Technology Institute of Economy (ZTIOE). This virtual campus includes all major attractions of the real-world ZTIOE campus,
and provides a range of learning and social venues that are suitable for various sizes of groups, and for both formal and informal interactions.
